Description97/100
Resolve names and ids for one of RJO's reference dimensions. Use this to turn a name an operator typed ("Salinas", "Red Globe", "Dole") into the id other tools filter by, or to list what is available in a dimension. Read-only. `search` is a text filter and applies to every dimension except commodityVarieties, which instead takes `commodity_id` and/or `color`. `include_archived` adds soft-deleted rows where the dimension supports it. Passing a filter a dimension does not support is an error rather than a silent no-op. Each value carries `extra` where there is a join worth having: commodities include their market group and display group and the ids of their varieties, pickup locations include their region, and varieties include their parent commodity and colour. Buyers get only values from their own clients' approved inspections (`search` works on every dimension; no `extra`). regions and marketGroups are not available to buyers, nor are `commodity_id`, `color` and `include_archived`. In aggregate_inspection_scores a buyer can filter by name directly, without looking ids up here first.
The description explains the capability, when to use it, and what to expect.
