The new product surface

MCP is becoming the most important product surface for every software company.

The web gave every company a homepage. Mobile gave every company an app. AI agents give every company a programmable interface, and MCP is the standard those agents are converging on.

Products that treat MCP as a side integration will become quiet databases behind somebody else's agent. Products that treat it as a first-class surface can own how agents discover, understand, and use them.

We are a small, stellar team of engineers and builders working where the specification, developer experience, infrastructure, and distribution all meet. We move quickly because the protocol does too.

mcp-use grew past 10,000 GitHub stars and millions of downloads before Manufact became the cloud behind it. The same team builds both.

We started mcp-use to make MCP useful outside a handful of closed clients. Developers adopted it faster than we could have planned: thousands of stars, millions of downloads, and production use across startups and enterprises.

Then those developers asked the harder question: how do we ship this? Manufact is the answer. The framework stays open source. The cloud handles the production path.
