Competiscan's direct mail and marketing intelligence archive — 20+ years of real campaigns collected continuously through a live panelist network across the United States and Canada. Panelists forward the marketing mail they receive, and personally identifiable information on each piece is redacted before it is catalogued, so the archive these tools search contains no panelist PII. Three tools cover the archive: search_campaigns — the core search tool. Filter by sector, category, media channel, audience, company, and date range, plus 68 additional PowerSearch filters (card networks, rewards types, mortgage terms, demographics, campaign flags, and more) passed as advanced filters. Full-text search over OCR'd mail copy is also supported. read_piece — retrieve the actual OCR-extracted text of specific pieces by ID, alongside a link to the original scanned PDF. discover_filters — look up the archive's live vocabulary (sectors, companies, DMAs, publications, and more) before building a query, so filter values are looked up rather than guessed. Every filter takes a human-readable name rather than an internal ID, and every response echoes back exactly what each name resolved to, so an agent can confirm a query matched what it intended before trusting the result. A truncated result set carries a next_step hint the agent can act on directly instead of reporting an empty or partial answer as a finding.
